Effective Practice and Pioneering
With great development potential, the tourism sector in Brazil is growing at a rapid pace and is responsible for generating thousands of jobs.
According to a study conducted last year by the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) in 181 countries, Brazil ranks fourth in mining investments and should be among the three countries with international tourism revenues between 2010 and 2020.
Seeking help to achieve this positive scenario, the M.O. acts in the qualification training and mobilization of professionals in the fields of food, transportation, accommodation, security, and health events. Partner Qualification Program in Tourism in the State of Paraná, sponsored by the Ministry of Tourism in partnership with the Evangelical Fellowship of Curitiba Beneficent, the company operates in 73 districts of the State and apply professional training courses and consulting business involving five thousand companies and entities that have benefited more than three thousand people directly and indirectly.
A pioneer in Brazil, the Qualification Program in Tourism in the State of Parana aims to improve the quality of tourism services offered locally with a view to the 2014 World Cup, which will Curitiba (capital of the state) as one of twelve venues of the event.
Technology and qualification
Another important project in which the M.O. plays an effective “Training Program is the Distance Training for Entrepreneurs in Micro and Small Enterprises”. In partnership with the Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade, M.O. is the company responsible for the training of entrepreneurs in 1200 in five Brazilian states. The program aims to improve the administrative skills and expand the competitive capacity of enterprises. For this, the M.O. has developed free online courses on business management, commercial management, legislation for micro and small enterprises and financial management. Through the website www.capacitacaompe.org.br entrepreneurs have access to a video lecture with two hours’ duration. Attendees rely on didactic material and expert support to clarify questions overseen by M.O.
